I just can't put into proper text how fabulous an afternoon this was.

Fotothing is my one and only internet blogging site. I never dreamed in a million years that I would make the friendships that I have to date here. Today, I took the leap and actually met face to face with an internet pal for the first time.

All morning, while waiting for them to arrive here, a thousand thoughts went through my mind. What are they like...will MissusJP be nice...will we have anything to talk about...will the kids be totally bored...what happens if we talk for 30 seconds and are totally uncomfortable with each other....what if...what if....

The second this beautiful family stepped out of their extremely sporty nerd-van, there were hugs and "heyyyyy"'s and then Dawson of course barked at JP and JP said "hey, Dawson!!!" like he'd met him a thousand times...and the next thing you know lunch was over and the afternoon stretched into the evening and I am sure we could have laughed and visited well into the night.

I once read somewhere a little saying that went "friends are the flowers in the garden of life". I am so delighted to say I have a very beautiful new bunch of flowers in my garden now!

Thank you, JP, for a most excellent day! You and your family are just a beautiful bunch and I do hope we will meet again soon! I wish you all a wonderful adventure over the next couple of weeks, and want you to know you are all welcome and invited back any time! Next time, it's a boat tour and maybe a camping trip (right, C?) ;-p
