Jceca .. thank you for dedication... it is an awesome picture, and it is good too see the difference's between the way we are aloud to do our abseiling in the uk ..to the way in Poland.
I had a young chap working with me a few years ago, and he pushed away from the glass with one foot while dangling from his ropes and the force of this made him turn to the right and he corkscrewed around 3 times eventually stopping with his back to the windows !.... he was 6 floors down on a 9 storey building.
I had to descend to the floor , go too the roof and re-rig my ropes near his and ascend again to him... he had froze. He would not let me turn him back around ..and the only way I could coax him down in the end was by pulling up the lower end of my safety line and tying him to my harness via this.
It took me 15 minutes to get him down, as I had to lower him a little, then myself until level with him and so on...... he works in an office now, not outside one. ;-)
(that is one off the nicer stories... I will leave the bad one's..)
Thanks again jceca ...... one of the lovely members of FT ;-)
