See what you make of this one Sket.I'm sure someone can do a better job of it, but have a look at this.

1. The material seems quite sheer in a single layer, and it looks like the object underneath it is maybe patterned vinyl? With a brass zip?

2. It definitely looks 'real' rather than ghostly, because Batfool's fur is raised against the surface of it.

This is exactly what we've been saying (about the fur and it looking real rather than ghostly).

The zip theory is interesting - I have a big black leather zip document foldery thing which I use for work but I am certain it wasn't in the car at the time. I have no idea what the white cloth might be - I've absolutely nothing that I can think of that matches that material and size. Whatever it is, I didn't see it when I was taking the pictures and it isn't in any of the other shots which were all taken straight after each other. The mystery deepens..
