Here's a bit of the Eldon Square complex in Newcastle that's being redeveloped into a load more horrible big shops. There was a lot of opposition to the demolition as it housed the 'Greenmarket', a popular collection of small shops and stalls. Sadly, money talks etc, so it's goodbye independent traders and hello Debenhams...
