The Iron Bridge 1779
The Iron Bridge crosses the River Severn in Shropshire, England. It was the first arch bridge in the world to be made of cast iron, a material which was previously too expensive to use for large structures.
Perfect mood for the theme Ian. You are lucky in this season there are no leaves on the bushes the river isn't covered.
Love this bridge too! It is very close to Birmingham, nice place for a Sunday walk.
