It's a pity that I haven't visited Turkey yet... I know it's a WONDERFUL country with one of the best peoples in the world. My late mother was born in Ayvalik around 1915 and her family took refuge in Greece (Mytilini island) after the disaster of 1922. Of course she kept visiting Ayvalik whenever that was possible... I hope one day (while I'm still not too ....old) I will too.

Hahaha you are not old I bet and Ayvalik is waiting you and your family . Maybe this summer my wife and son can visit Mytillini also but I am not sure yet.
