You sure have some big trees in your part of the country. Michigan, at one time nearly all forest, has been clear-cut a couple times since the white man arrived. Only some very small parcels of virgin forest remain, and they are privately owned. Gigantic trees are a rare find, unfortunately.

The truth be told...
You "are" hugging this tree....
is ok ...
I do feel the loss myself.
Is such a pity that this huge tree had to fall...
