Very nice Amsterdamse bos series dear Hans! I spent so many hours there, first with my children and later with my grandson Jacques and my dog Lucky. :)))

i visited the amsterdamse bos too in my childhood anna, we lived in Geuzenveld, not far from the park !!

Jakeobean, we see them here somuch ... we call them "waterchicken" !!

Lovely capture! We call them "meerkoet" (Coot in English) Hans! 't Waterkippetje of waterhoentje is kleiner, met een rood-gele snavel.:))

Volgens mij is die met het rood-gele snaveltje een meerkoet die jonger is dan een jaar...

mijn opa heeft me de beste indeling van vogels geleerd: "Je heb sijsies en drijfsijsies. Dit is n drijfsijsie"
