no weather to take foto's today, so some spectacular ones from the firefighters exhebition
one of the demonstrations was how to put out a flame in a pan of oil "vlam in de pan" ...and what NOT to do !!
this is what happends iff you pur a cup of water in the burning oil ... never do that !!!

Amazing what water can do to on oil fire!!

I had the wonderful privilege of tagging along and taking pictures when Harry went to training at the Fire Academy. It is the one best training facility in the world, and fire fighters come from all over the world to northern Nevada to attend it. It was amazing..............they did oil refinery fires one of many.

i was firefighter on board of the Navy ship i sailed on ... i liked the training we did when at home .... rescue from a burning chopper was my favorite !!

Of course I fight fire with fire!Never use water,I prefer gasoline!
