this month its fortress month ... many forts of the Dutch waterlinie and defence line of amsterdam are open for public !
my interrest is the defence works of Amsterdam mostly ...but sometimes we make a visit to other forts ..like last year fort Nieuwe Steeg ... a fantastic fort in the south of Holland !!
7/9 to our suprise the original key cabinet was still there ..with most of the keys stil on their right place !!
