Today i went to a interresing part of the defence works of Amsterdam .... teh defence works are not only forts but also things like this .... a building with a huge kind of drinkwater filter inside, this was to filter water to make it suitable to drink .... for the people and soldiers in Amsterdam i case of war ... 100 years old ...now in use by some artist who even live here !!
