I bought my wife a nice camera .. a Fuji Finepix S4000 ...with great zoom range ...24 - 720 mm ... to pratice fotoshooting we went to a birdpark Avifauna ... a nice park for pictures ..despite the grey weather ...my wife's first steps as fotographer !! ... take a look at her pictures ..wijnie58 ...she sure will like your comments !! :-)

They are a very strikingly colourful bird Hans, the novelty of seeing them has starting to wear off for us, after 2 1/2 years of being here in Aussie I might add; but they are pretty much everywhere here. I remember seeing them in the Dunedin Botanical Gardens Avery before we came here and being amazed.
