i converted them in PS ... made them sharper first ... for more details ..than turned it in B/W ... i have got a book about PS for x-mas ...now i have to find time to read it !! :-)

if you ask me .. well .. i have just that little little point and shoot camera .. so, nothing smart to tell you about techncs etc ..
but .. you did it right, i think ..
never shoot in B&W ... this way you have both versions ... and a possibility to choose better looking ones ...
as for sharpening ... i do that as the latest step !!! even AFTER resizing ( if you use to do that, of course )
