for your information, do you know, this year is the Vauban year it marks the tercentenary of Vauban's death.
With this occasion France deposited a candidates file for inscription of 14 sites strengthened by him on the list of world inheritance of humanity of UNESCO
He also was in his time ( 1680 )a promoter in France of defensive flood.....
