I travelled on the Danube river from Budapest to Vienna once in a hydrofoil similar to this one. It was a one day trip -really an amazing experience for me
I was 15 years old at the time and on vacation in Hungary (and Austria) with my father.
That was in 1982, so it was before the fall of the iron curtain!
