more of our visit at fort Velsen last week !
we gould not go into this fort ...so we followed the fence to the North Sea Canal ... the main task of this fort was to defend this canal ...wich connect the North Sea with Amsterdam .... the Navy ships that want to visit Amsterdam ahd to unload their amenution at this fort ...so a road was constructed from the canal to the fort !
always something interresting to see at the canal !!
