Eirikstadir, where we visited the reconstructed house of Leifur EIriksson, the Viking who was banned from his village and then took a boat to cross the Ocean ahead. He discovered Greenland and came to Newfoundland.
Yours truly with Viking helmet, sword, shield and wolf-skin. The iron helmet was ceremonial. They fought in leather helmet. Horns on Viking helmets are a Hollywood invention!
