This flower(?) on a tree was very fragrant. Very strong. I could smell it about a half a block before I got to it. I like the colors. I have no idea what it is.

It might be a silk tree:

It's also known as a mimosa tree, but the true mimosa species name refers to another kind of plant.

I walk by one of these every day on my way to work. The flowers are a bit delayed this year, and I'm looking forward to them. I love the fragrance!
