Yes photpro ..It is more to do with the dance though, its the Sardana Monument on the Beach Front in Callela - it symbolises the Catalan Cultural Dance, its very historic so i believe, and the people of spain (Catalan) dance a few steps, raise there joined hands in the air then let go and turn around and more people join in and lock hands and so on, its a unity dance of a very proud people... Meg might know more..it is a beautiful statue, they have others similar in Barcelona etc
Sorry Gary I can't tell you more about the dance!
Catalan culture is a world away from Andalucia and the world of flamenco, they don't even believe it's the same country... Catalan is even a different language! :-)
