A truly beautiful shot Loek - there is almost no better feeling than spending time with grand children. Our oldest son turns 40 this year, and has had (still does - they both turn a very active 81 this year!) many, many years of spending quality time with my parents.
I couldn't be happier about it - I had a limited 20 years (2 weeks each summer) to spend with my Dad's parents.
Mark started spending time alone with them (in addition to whenever we were with them as a family - several times a month for 20 years).
When he was 10, we started putting him on a bus for the 200 mile trip once a month a month for a weekend alone with them.
Great to see you with two of your grandchildren, neighbour! :-)
