It was a hot day, so we continued on to Aquatic Park. We saw a lot of people taking a swim or a bike ride, or walking their dogs.

When I was a little girl, I loved visiting this beach. I'm the oldest of six siblings, and our mother would take us to Aquatic Park several times during the summer and early autumn for a simple low-cost outing. It's a nice place to go for a swim in the San Francisco Bay.

It's also a great place for views. The handsome ship in the background is the Balclutha, and we would ask our mother to let us take a tour of the ship after we were finished with our swim.
