There's a beautiful garden at the old State Capital historic site, so naturally we took a walk in the garden and I took lots of photos.

The flowers of summer: surprise lilies, amaryllis belladonna, "naked ladies" ... so pink!

That's what I like about this photo, too. Normally, I wouldn't post something like this, with the flowers washed out so much, but I love the effects of the light and shadows.
