Visiting the Landis Arboretum --- #1 of 10
Esperance, New York
Wednesday, October 6, 2010
The Landis Arboretum is located on the site of a 19th Century farm, the home of Fred Lape, who founded the Arboretum. He established the arboretum in 1951 and it was incorporated ten years later as a memorial to George Landis, a colleague who collaborated in making the plantings.
The garden is open every day of the year, from dawn to dusk, and admission is free.
