This is a nice time to visit Huckleberry park --- the coast silktassel shrubs are in flower from December to February.
The coast silktassel is a dioecious species, with separate male and female plants. The females have purplish fruits. This male plant is displaying the long and silky catkins that look like tinsel. | |
