I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and have happy memories of bay cruises. We also took a lot of ferry rides and went whale watching.

There were lots of cruises featuring banquets, parties, and dances sponsored by church and school groups. In my last year of high school, I went with my boyfriend's class on an all-night "moonlight cruise" on the San Francisco Bay. More fun!
