Visiting the Kaiser Center roof garden in Oakland, California

This garden was built on the roof of a five-story parking structure in downtown Oakland.

Here's a closer look at some of the bright and beautiful flowers that are in bloom. I think that this might be a gazania, a native of South Africa that also does quite well in California as a drought tolerant ground cover.
