The Albany Bulb used to be a dumping ground for construction debris. In the 1980s, the dumping was stopped, and the area was cleaned up and turned into a park with the support of the local residents.
Artists are encouraged to use the concrete chunks, wood, and rebar as raw materials for public art. In addition to offering wonderful views of the San Francisco Bay Area, The Bulb is an outdoor art gallery! | |
