Gazanias make great photos and come in a multitude of color combinations. Grow easily from seed. I dont think they like frost but.

They do quite well in Oakland CA. We don't get much frost and I've gotten good results with rooting cuttings whenever we do have a colder than usual winter.

I first became acquainted with gazanias down in San Diego when I was visiting there, and fell in love with them. Around here, we call them "African daisies."
