The Oakland Museum of California (OMCA) has been closed since the summer of 2009 for a major renovation project. Now that the museum is ready to reopen, Andrew and I were invited to a special Members Only party. The Museum will be open to the public again on May 1.
This "garden in cans" is a new exhibit. The cans are on wheels so that the gardeners can move them around, and the white jugs can be used to water and fertilize the plants. The plan is to use the harvested produce in the Museum café! | |
