I like the tufts of fescue grass on the roof. In previous visits, I've seen wildflowers, including California poppies, growing up there!

There's a farmer's market nearby on Sundays, and they were just packing up to go. That may explain the crates to the right of the cabin.

They brought this hut here from the Yukon. It isn't Jack London's actual cabin, but it's just like it. At the end of his life, London was building an estate up in Glen Ellyn out in the woods. That's been restored and just opened to the public.
