There's a beautiful garden at the old State Capital historic site, so naturally we took a walk in the garden and I took lots of photos.

Many of the trees in the garden are quite old. I believe that this one is an olive tree, and doesn't it have a wonderful trunk!

I wish I knew for sure, but it's possible that the tree was planted in the 1840s or '50s.
