Welcome to Pepper Tree Lane! This building was built in 1934 around a fine heritage pepper tree.

We stopped in for a meal at Partner's Bistro & Terrace, and we were seated right next to this fine tree trunk!

Yes!

Pepper trees seem to do well on crowded streets with no sidewalks and in courtyards.
