visiting the Oakland Museum of California
Thursday, April 29, 2010

We've been indoors during most of this visit, so let's step outside for a few pictures. The building and grounds are interesting, too.

The California legislature has designated serpentine as “the official State Rock and lithologic emblem” so it stands to reason that a "museum of California" should have a fine specimen of serpentine on display!
