The tiled stairs were what caught my eye since I love tile and mosaic work on buildings and stairways. The details around the doorway are beautiful, too.

By the way: there's an amazing and colorful stairway in San Francisco that I haven't had a chance to visit yet, but (PedroBala) has posted this photo:
