There are about a dozen night herons who live here at the Bird Sanctuary. I've seen a couple of volunteers who bring food to hand feed the night herons, and the birds will stand around in a circle with the person in the middle. I love watching the birds wait for their turn at the food, and some day I hope to get some photos.
