History of the isle Mainau:
-first rute of settlement: youngstonetime 3000 before Christ
-15 before Christ: the roman impire beat the Celts there
They build a castel and a dockyard on the isle, and a navalbase for their navy on Bodensea.
-9-13 centenary -it was count to abbey Reichenau
-then it come to the Deutschordensritter(=germanordenknight)
-1806 deconsecration by Napoleon
-1853 the grand duke Friedrich I from Baden earned the isle for a summer residence.
-1928 the isle come by heritage to the swedish crown
-today it is a donation (1% to the Gräfin countess Bettina Bernadotte)
