Glen Affric, Scotland - colours were just beginning to turn. This was halfway round the loch - our feet had just started to tell us that we had probably walked far enough! Too late!

It is well worth a trip - not far from you really - just up the A9. Make sure you have your best walking shoes! It is over 11 miles.

It was - had a problem getting out of the car when we stopped for fish & chips on the way back - legs would no longer work.
