Ah, a kindred spirit! I had a 65 back in 67 when it was nearly new, this one has taken some work but I love the old bug!! Basic car.

I have neighbors who hire out split screen campers for touring.
Just spent two hours this morning washing & waxing them before they go out for the week.
Wash my own car about once a year but I love polishing those old vans.

Mine isn't restored. That's the great part! I bought it like that from the original owner. It was from Denver. I added the dual exhaust and the tires and other stuff that you can't see, but mostly it's untouched.

Just don't look at it too closely... 40 years are fairly evident when you're standing next to it. Or when you're driving it!
