I'll have you all know that just the feet in the pool didn't last long. I went in! :) 108...that's pretty hot. Last I looked today it was only 102.
BTW, doug makes me a mocha coffee drink every afternoon. I'm an addict and I have turned him into one. Oh..I trained him well, too. :))))))

You know what they say: If you can't stand the heat (from the fires), get out of California.

It is suppossed to be hot here, that is one reason we live here!! The other is our normal humidity in the summer of about 10-12%! I grew up in INdiana and you can keep the 95%+ humidity!! :-))) I don't miss that at all!!!

Yeah, sometimes I just wake up wet and stay wet all day. Stoopid.

With that kind of temp I would never leave the pool.

Thanks, John! We moved here in August 2003 and ordered the pool in September! It was quickly apparant that it is a necessity!!

Thanks, Cooler! It was os hot that day, a few minutes after I took the picture, she was IN the pool!!

Yeah, she is sharp, got in the water a few minutes later!!

Great shot of her! It hasn't topped 80 here at lake almanor. Back to the heat tomorrow then off to the coast for clean air, cool temps and fireworks for the 4th!

No fireworks here for sure!! It would be insane for them to even think about it!! Have fun!
