I used to shoot the moon every month (moon months) and finally decided that until I get a longer lens - I'm just duplicating shots already taken. Now what I do is concentrate on partial shots occasionally - the ridge and crater detail is soooo much more interesting (IMHO)

Mine as well, Ciekee! I am an amateur astronomer and fascinated by it all!!

Bill, you are so right. I never tire of looking at the moon through my telescope ( a 5" reflector). I have to try and get an adaptor of some sort so I can hook my SLR up to the telescope! Just have not gotten around to it. ;-))
