Dougrun's Fotothing

Today Denise and I visited the Cal Fire Attack Base here in Redding. As you may have heard, we have fires raging all around our county as well as other parts of California. The on the ground firefighters, heros one and all, were out taking care of business. But here are a couple of regular guys who risk their lives every day to keep us safe and secure. My thanks to each and every one of them!! We owe you!!

Here is one of the tanker planes they fly. This one is out of Missoula Montana. It has 2 radial engines and 2 jet engines for extra power on take off or when needed. More on that later.
