Ok, here's the story. Denise, Maniac Mom, took pity on me because my bird shots were not as sharp and crisp as hers. She gave me a hint of something to "unset" on my camera and what animprovement!! Still not up to her quality but better I think!! The 5 shots in this series are untouched except for some cropping. Try originals to see the detail!

It looks like that but it was very hot that day about 100 degrees F and the birds sit with their mouth open when it is that hot. Must be a way for them to cool a bit. :-))
