Dougrun's Fotothing

Not to be outdone by the Navy, our US Air Force demonstration team, the Thunderbirds visited our airshow in 2011. They fly F-16 Falcon fighters. This shot is my favorite of the day. They crossed right in front of us at less than 100' off the ground, one inverted over the other! Each plane was flying at 450 mph, or a closing speed of about 900 mbh, only a few feet separating the tips of their tails! I felt lucky to get them both in the shot!
