I think it's an RS2000, there was only one mexico there and it was yellow. Got a pic of it but not a great pic so havnt put it on here.

Ahh yes, I think you are right, Mexicos are generally yellow (although I am sure I saw a white one once). Love those old cars though. My first 3 cars were escorts. I had a Mk2, Mk3 and Mk4. I had a 1.3 Mk 3 which we dropped a 1.4 engine into, changed the gearbox for a 1.1 version and slapped on some twin chocked webbers and 11" wheels. It went like Sh*t off a shovel to 60. Blokes in GTIs and XR3s/XR4s and RSs used to be amazed to see this old rusty piece of crap doing 60 off the lights in under 7.5 seconds. :P
