Hi Papagena,
in our area all railway activity ceased about 5 years ago when a new Highway was built. Consequently, we now have a hardly existent public transport as everyone is supposed to have a car. You're right, it's a desolate sight when you take global warming into consideration...

Diese Strecke duerfte nicht sehr befahren sein :-) (oders sehr wenig). Sieht so aus als ob da hinten Endstation wäre. Am Ende holt sich die Natur wieder alles zurück!

Ja, Walter, auf dieser Strecke faehrt schon seit Jahren kein Zug mehr. Die Autobahn wurde vergroessert, die Zuege in unserer Region voellig abgeschafft. Es ist eine unglaubliche Schande, wenn man an all die Abgase und ueberfahrenen Tiere denkt...hmmm
