OK...This is for Our " Pentax Buffs " ...This is the New K100 From Pentax...I took It out back of work.....Not sure if I like it better then the Ist* DS..... The only thing I can say is keep the Image stabilization OFF unless you really need it...which goes for all DSLR 's ....If you can hold your camera still ...the camera's stabilization still tries to compensate for shaking ...In which ..you still have a blurry photo!!!! :O( Not to happy with that...But, we will see... Sheila

I like it.
I was thinking about the new K100 because of the image stabilizer, but after reading this I'll stick with the DS for now.

I agree ...I still think the DS and DL even the DS 2 ... " Blows" the K100 out of the water...I think they are coming out with one to replace it...Already !!!! So yea, hold on to yours for now ... :O) Your photos are Superb!!!! :O))) thanks for the comment!!! Sheila
