Colin Geddes is the Film Festival progammer notorious for bringing shlock horror and science fiction movies to the Festival. Fabrice Du Welz is a Belgian director whose latest film, Vinyan, is about a couple who looks for their missing son in a jungle at the Thai-Burmese border. They meet some really creepy children in the jungle.

Vinyan is a French-U.K.-Belgian co-production, but all the dialogue is in English, except in the scenes where sleazy Thai low-lifes plot how to steal more money from the beleaguered European couple.
