I know of uneatable onions...long time ago...when sweden and russia.had a big fight...they invaded sweden..(eastcoast)...burned down farms taking prisoners..the whole thing...enyway.....before they left..they planted uneatble onions in all fields..(a lot of them)..destroyd all farming for years..and they are called russian onions .
