When walking down the track,my father pulled me away.I was concentrated on a unique detail in the track.From the right(my almost deaf side)came this Amsterdam beauty,built in 1948.I almost was hit by it.

It's a beauty!I can remember them.They were at the end of their life,but when visiting my aunt in Amsterdam,I made a few rides in it.I'm growing old.....

When I came to live in Amsterdam (1958) these we the 'new' and very modern ones. The old ones still had wooden benches and an open balcony for the smokers...

That's right.I have a picture of these,but taken from the eleventh floor from my father's retirement home.I don't have a tele,so it's lost in the picture....
