I was naughty - I scanned it!

As a lad in the 1940s I did a paper round and was paid half a crown - 2/6d. a week - not bad money at that time - pity about inflation!

Half a Crown. Gosh. Better than half a brain I guess. What does that convert to in Twoonies (CAD).

Am I right it was also called ''half a dollar' when there where 4 $'s to the pound [5 shillings.]

In 1948 - 50c - now? - abot 10c.

2/6d real money - I did a paper round in the 1960's, can't remember what I got, but half a crown certainly went a long way back then, great memories
